Champoton, ancient villa of the sixteenth century with a wall built to protect the population from attacks by famous pirates like John Hawkins, Francis Drake, William Parker, James Jackson, Henry Morgan, Mansvelt, Bartholomew, Rock Brasiliano, Lorencillo, Captain Cook and Scott Lewis. An underwater world that keeps stories encapsulated in the reef with legends hiding in the aquatic life. Live the experience of diving among wrecks trapped along the former coastline of the Mayan province Chakan Putum. Come and meet, have fun and help us to protect them!
