Beside diving, tell us about the area: We�d love you to come and experience our amazing snorkelling and diving activities at Catalina Island. Enjoy our great food, chill out in the sun and have a drink from our bar, all-inclusive! Catalina island has some of the best diving sites in the Dominican Republic and the waters are filled with sea life. This also makes for a great snorkelling experience and is sure to be a day to remember. There�s always time during the day to sit back, put your legs up and relax with a beer or soft drink. Come and join us, enjoy the Caribbean sun, eat coconuts and have a drink. We�re family friendly, so bring the children along, we have all the beach toys they could wish for!
The food menu changes from day to day and our VIP menu includes a freshly prepared lobster cooked on our BBQ. The standard menu includes BBQ�d chicken with an array of different dishes including vegetarian and gluten free options. The food, soft drinks and local beer is all-inclusive throughout the day. And there's also a selection of imported American beers, along with coconuts which can be purchased at the beach bar.
We welcome those who have a disability and our staff are experienced and very helpful to make their day special. Also, be sure to let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements. Describe types of diving in the area: There are two sites around Catalina Island that offer the best diving in the Dominican Republic, the first is know as the 'Wall' and the 2nd is known as the 'Aquarium' offering something special for both beginner and advanced PADI scuba divers.

Best dive sites: "The Wall" is the first dive point of the day, starting at about 5m (16ft) and descends down to 40m+ (131ft+) allowing you to choose your depth that best suits your skill and comfort in the water. You can expect a good visibility between 10m (32ft) to 20m (65ft). Our experienced PADI certified dive team will be available to help and guide you through the amazing underwater eco system, so that you don�t miss anything on your underwater adventure. "The Aquarium" is our second dive point of the day, starting from 8m (26ft) and descends down to 12m+ (39ft+) depth, with a good visibility between 10m (32ft) to 20m (65ft). Our experienced PADI certified dive team will be available to help and guide you through the amazing underwater eco system so that you don�t miss anything on your underwater adventure.
List fish commonly seen in the area: Things to look out for during your dive include; vase sponge, jellyfish Aurelia aurita, fire coral, sea pen, sea cucumber, sea fan coral, black coral, Elkhorn coral, Christmas tree worm, octopus, fire worm, flamingo tongue, colonial hydroids, sea urchin, leather coral, rock crab, porcupine fish, sailfin sculpin, green parrotfish, moray eel, scorpion fish, southern stingray, blue parrotfish, elephant ear, sponge coral, green angelfish, lion fish, sea horse, yellow stingray, lettuce slug and more.
Best time to dive: January. Shallowest dive 8M/26F. Deepest Dive: 20M/66F. Visibility: Perfect. Any Wrecks: one. Captain Kidd�s Shipwreck of 1699. Suit required: Short Wet Suit 3mm.
